Spectator Policy Please Print & Observe








The following rules are consistent with those of the American Junior Golf Association and other national junior tournaments:

    
PETS ARE PROHIBITED FROM THE GOLF COURSE PROPERTY - DO NOT BRING PETS

            Appropriate Attire is required for spectators (See Below) no blue jeans, tee shirts, football jerseys etc.

Spectators are permitted to follow players however they may not coach or communicate with players during a round.
             

                                                     Additional rules applying to spectators:

1. Direct verbal communication, hand signals, to influence the golfer is prohibited
2. Spectators should maintain a minimum distance away from all players of 50 yards.
3. Spectators are not allowed to rake bunkers.
4.
Spectators should remain on cart paths or the extreme edge of the rough and only cross the fairway when     necessary.
5. Spectators are allowed to deliver food and beverage to the players.
6. Spectators are allowed to assist in the search of a lost ball however no communication should take place with the players.
7. Please do not follow directly behind the golfers as this may prevent the following group from being able to play their shots.
8. Cell Phones & Beepers are distractions to the players please refrain from using these devices (for incoming communications) on the course. Maintain minimum of 50 yards when these are in out-going use.

IMPORTANT:
It is the Junior Golfers responsibility to assure spectators do not create a violation. Spectator violation may result in penalty strokes or disqualification of the junior golfer involved.

Spectators who need to talk with the player (for health reasons, sunscreen, food, beverage, etc.) should do so in front of other spectators and/or junior golfers to eliminate a one on one conversation between spectator and golfer.

DRESS CODE:

  1. Appropriate golf attire is required at all times.
  2. Shorts and skirts should be no more than 5” above the knee or less than a 5” inseam.
  3. Young Men must wear collared shirts tucked in at all times (Appropriate Mock & Turtlenecks are acceptable). Hats should not be worn backwards.
  4. Young Ladies tank tops, halter-tops, midriff and short skirts/shorts are not appropriate attire.
Please use discretion. Tournament officials and Golf Course Management Personnel will enforce the dress code

WE ENCOURAGE SPECTATORS TO ENJOY THE GOLF HOWEVER THEY ARE TO HAVE NO INFLUENCE ON THE PLAYERS OR THE TOURNAMENT. SPECTATORS THAT DO NOT ADHERE TO THE TOUR’S POLICIES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE GOLF COURSE.
