The Junior Honda Classic is a premier competitive and
developmental golf experience celebrating junior golf and
perpetuating our growth of the game initiatives.
We are inviting young people of all ages and skill levels to play and have
fun. As a part of our kickoff series leading up to the 2009
Honda Classic, we are
reaching out to the youth in our community to come to PGA National Resort
& Spa to enjoy golf at the home of The Honda Classic.
We will be staging a 36-hole tournament for boys
and girls ages 11-18 on December 13-14, 2008 (players can
earn junior ranking points).
We will also have an 18 hole and 9 hole format for ages 16
and under on Saturday, December 13, 2008 (age as of
12/12/08).
Participants will have the option to play in one format.
Entries are $195 per player for the 36 hole event, $135
for the 18 hole format and $95 for the 9 hole format (a
practice round is available on 12/12/08 for an additional
fee).
Each player receives a Honda Classic gift pack and prizes will be awarded
following play. All proceeds will benefit Children’s
Healthcare Charity.
PGA National Resort is offering a special $109/night room
rate for contestants and their families.

For those young golfers looking for more tournament
experience, Junior Honda Classic participants have been
given special invitation to participate in the
Teens on the Green World Championship that will be played at
PGA National the week following the Junior Honda Classic.
