STEP PROGRAM

 

The Junior Players’ Tour is now authorized to participate in the Florida State Golf Association’s STEP program (Special Tournament Exemption Program).
The new program allows junior players to earn exemptions for the Florida Junior Tour (FJT) through tournament participation in Junior Players’ Tour events.

EXEMPTIONS AWARDED SEE BELOW:

1.      Junior Players’ Tour tournament winner will earn one (1) exemption (see below). The FJT will be
 notified by email following the tournament.  The exemption will be credited to the player's account. FSGA
 . The exemption will be valid for one (1) year from the date earned

2.      The exemption will be added to the FJT players account if they have one. If player does not have an
 account he needs to create one, exemptions will appear on each player’s “FJT Player Profile” Page.

3.      Junior Players’ Tour members receiving an exemption that do not have an FSGA account must open one.

     Junior Players’ Tour year end Player Of The Year Exemption awarded to points winner.
one (1) exemption for Young Men 16-18
one (1) exemption for Young Men 14-15
      one  (1) exemption for Young Women 13-18

  Junior Player’s Tour Tournaments

           Young Men 15-18            1-one (1) Exemption each 1st Place
Young Men 14-15            1-one (1) Exemption each 1st Place
Young Women 13-18       1-one (1) Exemption each 1st Place

   Age Division exemptions for tournaments to be announced
 

     FLORIDA JUNIOR TOUR (FJT) REQUIREMENTS:

1. Players must be FJT members       .
                      2. Players must submit entries prior to entry deadlines.
                3. Players must meet all eligibility and FJT policies
                                                                               4. FJT exemptions are not (free entries) and do not guarantee acceptance into an FJT event.
                                                                5. Players must meet the age requirement for the division exemption was awarded.
                             6. Players must have an account with FSGA
